The Baseball Opening Day Parade started at 7:30am with truck decorating, balloons, streamers, donuts and coffee (for the adults!). The emergency services led the parade with sirens blaring through the 'twin cities' of Corte Madera and Larkspur ending up at Kirby Field at school. All the teams encircled the baseball diamond and the pitcher threw the opening ball... yay! The season begins... C'arn the Indians! The boys have begun collecting baseball cards and have learned a few of the players' names already. It's totally infectious and a lot of fun. Our first game is tomorrow.
