Just returned from spring break in Montana. We had a great time (except for David being wiped out with the flu the moment we landed!). The kids learned to ski at Bridger Bowl Ski Resort across the road from the luxurious cabin we rented for the week with our friends Jason & Michelle Veitch and their gorgeous newborn bub Madison. We saw huge herds of wild elk just near the cabin and checked out the brown bears in a park nearby. Even whilst touring the terrific Museum of the Rockies (no-one blinks at this gear here), the kids spent the entire week dressed as cowboys - guns blazing - and we all watched and re-watched vintage western classics (personal fave - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid!!) all shot in the mountains around us. We had a huge dump of snow and I even managed a day of snowboarding! We even made our own western... stay tuned for the YouTube link... lots of drinking and eating (but mainly by me mmm ...except for the dozen beignets inhaled by Jeramiah Jacky John Jones and Sammy the Sundance Kid)!
