Whilst David is in Seattle overnight, Sam, Jack and I had breakfast this morning in Sausalito - a lovely little fishing town on the bay. It was a glorious day so we thought we would take a ferry ride into the city - very reasonable too only US$14 return (the cabbie told me it would probably cost around US$50 from San Rafael to the City). After arriving at the Port we crammed into an F-Tram (not such a strange thing for us Melbourne-ites!) and got off at the Ripley's Believe it or Not! Museum... The boys were not so keen on the creepy exhibits so we scooted next door to the Rainforest Cafe which was so over the top it was actually pretty cool - a jungle themed restaurant with a waterfall so loud you couldn't hear the kids shouting!! Ahhh... Dinosaur Nuggets and Lava Mud all round. Jack took hundreds of photos - here's just one!
